Sanika Divekar

MBPsS

Sanika is a Former National  Level Table Tennis athlete who decided to pursue her passion and her education all at once and now works as a Sport and Exercise Psychologist. She says she got the best of both worlds! With an undergrad in Psychology from  Mumbai University and competitive TT experience for a decade, she went on to pursue an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Brunel University, London. She played table tennis professionally for 12 years, in this stint she has been lauded with several gold medals and championships at the state and national level. She was also on the Air India Table Tennis team for 6 years. Her aim is to be able to aid in developing mentally tough athletes for our nation and ultimately see Indian athletes soaring high at the international podiums. She firmly believes that sport has the power to transform lives, and thus, encourages everybody to take up some physical activity and pursue it at the recreational level. Having played sport at the competitive level and now working as a Sport and Exercise Psychologist, discipline, determination, and empathy are her natural superpowers.

Sanika Ekbote

Sanika is a Counselling Psychologist who is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She pursued her Bachelor in Psychology from University of Mumbai and further completed her Masters focused in Counselling Psychology from the same institute. She has varied experience of working in MNC’s in HR as well as a Counselling Psychologist in school with an avid experience of conducting workshops for parents and children with special needs. She has also taken extra courses in Rational Emotive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rehabilitation Counselling. Her list of accomplishments also includes a certificate in German language. She is currently working as a Career Counsellor and is trained by Mindler in collaboration with National Career Development Association (NCDA, U.S.A.) AND Career Development Alliance (CDA, U.S.A.). She’s artsy, she’s creative and she is empathetic. Her eclectic approach to counselling is one of her finest strengths. Being a trained dancer she learnt the importance of freedom of expression and thus, she aims to equip every individual with the same through her work.
